Alien Planet Photobash

This project was intended to be a test of my skills at photobashing environments - in this case an alien planet with some similarities to Earth. The photographic elements of the landscapes were either taken by me or provided by friends who lived in other countries, while the planet and the moon were made from official NASA photographs of planets and moons in our solar system. Each final image took about two days of work. Initially I had no intention of depicting the planet from space, but I realized that it would make for an effective framing device. I have considered following this up with paintovers, but am currently undecided as my current skills may not be adequate to do the imagery justice.

A mountainous region. This was the more rushed of the two landscapes, and very much has an "awaiting paintover to hide the flaws" type of appearance.
